Baviaanskloof
Wilderness area is considered the number ONE Adventure
Motorcycle route in Southern Africa. Since the R332 upgrade
the route is now easily do able for most level of riders
- the gorge is 175km from gate to gate and loose gravel,
steep passes and several river crossings give the route
its sort-after character.
We suggest you do it over 3 days and explore the area
to its full potential from the Patensie side to the Makadaat
Caves and Nuwekloof Pass on the Willowmore side.
Upgrade
of R332 from Patensie to Willowmore
The
gravel road including most of the deep water crossing
in Baviaanskloof have been upgraded from the Eastern gate
to Smitskraal. We know it sucks!! but now everybody
can enjoy Baviaanskloof
